John Hanamirian


Mr. Hanamirian has an advanced degree in tax law from Georgetown University School of Law and was an Attorney Advisor at the United States Tax Court. He applies his advanced tax, accounting, finance, economics and litigation acumen to counsel and represent individuals and entities in:


Business and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and business litigation;

  • Tax and business planning in all areas;
  • Civil and criminal tax controversy and litigation, including all aspects of criminal pre-indictment and civil administrative proceedings.



Mr. Hanamirian also has notable expertise in advising on white collar criminal matters and advising other professionals, including accountants and attorneys, on positions they may take with a particular tax return reporting item or in a particular transaction or litigation matter. Mr. Hanamirian also advises accountants and attorneys on professional liability, professional standards and ethics matters.
