Hanamirian Appointed Special Fiscal Agent in Corona Science & Technology Center v. Cheng
HLF Managing Shareholder John Hanamirian has been appointed as a Special Fiscal Agent (SFA) by Assignment Judge Yolanda Ciccone, Superior Court of New Jersey, in the matter of Corona Science & Technology Center v. Cheng, et al (Docket No. SOM-C-12027-13). SFA duties regard the facilitation of the dissolution of Corona Science & Technology Center in accordance with the Order and Opinion of the Court, including dissolution of the company as well as distribution of shares. As SFA of Corona Science, Hanamirian “is authorized to act with all power and authority to, amongst other things, enter the premises of the companies, oversee, monitor and report on the status of the assets and business operation of the companies.”
Hanamirian will be essentially running the business of the company during the pendency of the dispute. SFAs are often called upon to assist the courts in resolving complex matters, including protection of corporate assets and shareholders.
